Greene County Schools
Snow Hill, NC
In mid April 2011, a tornado ravaged Greene County Middle School, the only middle school in the county and home to 800 students. For the remainder of the school year, displaced middle school students had to share a facility with the county’s high school students while their own school was demolished and rebuilt. In order to provide a temporary facility separate from the high school, D.H. Griffin provided emergency construction services to Greene County under the CM at Risk method to establish a modular middle school campus of prefabricated buildings in just a few shorts months. Our team made sure the modular facility was ready for students in time for the fall 2011 semester.
