Wake County Public School System
Rolesville Middle School is a 196,600-sq.-ft., structural steel-framed building of a prototype design; the third of three schools of this prototype built by D.H. Griffin Construction. The reuse of this prototype allows our owner to save money in design and allows us to construct them with enhanced efficiency. Sitework for this job was complicated by the fact that the site was laden with rock. Extensive dynamite blasting was necessary to prepare the site. The facility is located on a 38-acre site in close proximity to residential neighbors.
